We are looking for a number of Product Builders to join our Production department in Ballybrittas, Co. Laois. You will be assembling Alpha Wireless antennas on our manufacturing lines and we are looking for people who are available for an immediate start. Having good communication skills and the ability to work in a team are essential. Experience with mechanical or electrical work is an advantage.
Successful candidates will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:
- Antenna assembly including mechanical assembly, PCB and cable soldering and basic product testing
- Adhere to Product Work Instructions while assembling components on a busy production line while ensuring Quality and Safety standards are maintained to the highest level
- Operating handheld power tools such as rivet guns, torque drivers, glue guns and silicone guns
- Assist with construction of production jigs and fixtures
- Assist with general upkeep of facilities ensuring production lines are maintained clean and tidy
- Any other duties that may arise as a result of business requirements
Skills:
- Ability to communicate with team members and management team
- Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision and also as part of a broader manufacturing team
- Desire and ability to learn with a positive attitude and work ethic
- Good Mechanical aptitude and hand skills
- Flexible to move in a fast-paced environment with good organizational skills
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferable but not essential as full on the job training will be provided
