Autumn, or should we say the fall, just keeps getting busier, with Alpha Wireless attending the ‘Wispapalooza’ event at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas from 14-18 October.
Cameron Kilton, Director of Sales, US WISP markets, comments, “WISPA [Wireless Internet Service Providers Association] is the voice of the wireless internet service industry in the US, so it’s the perfect setting for us to showcase our latest product innovations and product range.”
On display at stand #603, will be the:
WISP-CAN
The WISP-CAN , one of the flagship products on display at the show was developed with concealment in mind while delivering effective small cell coverage. It is a fully integrated, go-to-site solution that houses all equipment into a single neat enclosure. The circumference of the enclosure is the actual antenna! The WISP-CAN enables easy, super-fast deployment and is low cost – overall 50% saving on cost and 70% saving on deployment time when compared to traditional deployments.
Dual Band Panel – AW3697
The AW3697 combines a number of popular antennas into a single shell. It enables multiple bands and was developed following consultation with many WISPs and utility markets across North America – it is taking the WISP market by storm. Kilton explains, “The AW3697 is a popular solution for the WISP market, it is a single antenna unit designed with affordability and reliability in mind.”
Small Cell Omni – AW3672
The Alpha Wireless pseudo omni antenna provides 360⁰ coverage whilst in an ultra-compact design. It includes independent tilt control on each of the six sectors. The 4-port antenna provides 4X4 MIMO for improved data throughput with electrical variable tilt for maximum optimization. Ideal for deployment for micro pops, urban environments on lamp posts, utility poles, roof tops or walls.
Two-in-One Panel – AW3677
AW3677 two-in-one panel antenna provides ultimate flexibility between the 2.3 and 3.8 GHz frequency bands. Designed for optimal radiation patterns, the multiport, multiband AW3677 two-in-one does away with the need for deploying multiple panel antennas and can easily be mounted on any suitable vertical structure.
There will be demos and 60+ interactive sessions at the five-day event, which aims to inform and provide insight on many topics, including regulatory affairs, business and technical matters as well as marketing and HR related news. Claude Aiken, President & CEO of WISPA, will also be giving a keynote speech.
Joining Cameron Kilton on behalf of Alpha Wireless will be Ryan T. White, VP Corporate and Business Development and Ann-Marie Mulcahy, Head of Marketing. Next stop is LA where the team will be exhibiting at Mobile World Congress Los Angeles from 22-24 October 2019.
