AWL4003

The AWL4003 is a Small Cell Fusion panel antenna that offers 20 Ports, with 4 Ports covering the Low band (617-894 MHz), eight ports covering the Lower mid-band (1695 – 2690 MHz) and eight ports covering the Upper mid-band (3300 – 4200 MHz). The antenna’s gain is designed to maximize cell size while equalizing the hand-off distance between bands. The AWL4003 has a gain of 8 dBi on the Low band, 13 dBi on the Lower mid-band and 15 dBi on the Upper mid-band.

Three AWL4003 sector panels mounted around a centre pole form a concealed canister with a 22-inch diameter. This Small Cell Fusion platform using the AWL4003 provides a total of 60 Ports with 12 (4Px3) Ports on the Low band, 24 (8Px3) Ports on the Lower mid-band, and 24 (8Px3) Ports on the Upper mid-band. The high port count supports multiple radios to achieve the best coverage and highest data rates across LTE and 5G NR bands.

The Small Cell Fusion Platform is the next generation of streetwork concealment solutions that combine the performance and flexibility of small cell panels with the aesthetic and concealment benefits of a canister antenna. The Fusion system consists of three modular panels that wrap around a pole to create a canister shape.

Different mounting options for top-of-pole, side-of-pole and middle-of-pole provide flexibility to ensure the solution blends with infrastructure and expands access to sites with strict zoning restrictions. The poles can be tapered or straight and the Fusion platform will maintain its canister form factor. The mount kit includes mounting and shroud accessories, making concealment on lamp posts, utility poles, walls and other vertical structures possible.

There are a number of Small Cell Fusion panel antennas available. The flexibility of using separate panels allows for each one to be chosen based on the cell’s requirements. The Fusion platform can be configured as a single-sector, dual-sector, tri-sector, or omni-directional antenna while keeping the same canister form factor.
