Sanjeev Singh works in our R&D department in Ireland and is one of our Senior Mechanical Design Engineers.
Tell us about yourself and your hobbies?
I’m Sanjeev Singh and I have more than 20 years’ experience in Research and Development. I moved to Ireland in 2016 with my family. I live in Portlaoise, and I play Cricket for Laois County on the weekend. I really enjoy exploring the countryside and like to drive around Ireland with my family to spend quality time with them.
Tell us about your Alpha Wireless journey – how have you progressed since you started?
I joined Alpha Wireless as a Mechanical Engineer in January 2016. Alpha Wireless has a very fast workflow to design and develop antennas for the market. When I started with Alpha Wireless we were working on small-sized antennas. In the seven years since then, we are now making antennas that are more than 8 meters long and weighing 750 kg. I have been involved in developing lots of different types of products like Sector Antenna, OMNI, CAN, Tri-Sector, Stadium Antenna and the New York Shroud. Now we are working on developing a next-generation antenna platform, cabinets for streetworks solutions and many different products along with antennas.
