Alpha Wireless was one of a number of leading Irish businesses being celebrated for their ongoing success in Australia at a government trade and investment event in Sydney.

An Irish government delegation, led by Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation Heather Humphreys, and senior Enterprise Ireland representatives took part in the event on the 14th of March, which highlighted the success of Irish companies in Australia.

Alpha Wireless Director, Engineering Peter Liversidge and Vice President Engineering Michal Svarc attended the event, and said it was fantastic to be included in the list of businesses being acknowledged.

“To be among this successful group of businesses is a real privilege, and emphasises the strong position Alpha Wireless has developed in this part of the world,” Liversidge said.

“We’ve been growing our customer base in the Asia/Pacific region over the past few years, and we’re only getting bigger. In 2018, we launched our Sydney research and development operation, which has been hugely beneficial to clients we were already working with here, and is helping us expand further.”

As well as having Alpha Wireless promoted as a leading Irish company in the telecommunications industry, Svarc said the event was a good opportunity to network and explore possibilities for new relationships.
