AW3830-E-F Concealment

The AW3830-E-F is a reconfigurable concealment solution that houses the antennas and radios in an aesthetically pleasing canister. This antenna covers the 3300 -3800 MHz frequency band and can be configured for various different antenna options – Back to Back (Peanut), Dual Sector, Omni, and Tri-Sector. The radios and cable assemblies are concealed in the bottom of the canister behind the access doors. The antenna allows the mounting of multiple radios through orderable internal cabinet brackets. The radios and cables may be installed in a controlled environment to reduce deployment costs on site.

Back-to-back configuration offers peanut-shaped pattern with maximum at 0° and 180° azimuth with four ports. Dual-Sector configuration offers two 65°sectors at 0° and 60° azimuth with four ports per sector. Omni configuration offers one 360° omni with four ports. Tri-Sector configuration offers three 65° sectors at 0°, 120°, and 240° azimuths.

Each configuration of the AW3830-E-F provides ±45° slant polarization and supports 4×4 MIMO. This antenna has remote electrical tilt (eRET) adjustment which enables the electrical tilt to be adjusted via a removable motor located inside the antenna housing. The AW3830-E-F provides multiple sectorized coverage for 4G LTE and 5G private networks using the 3.5 GHz Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) and C-band spectrum (Bands n48, n78, 42, 43, and 52). This antenna has mounting bracket available for roof-tops, sides of buildings or poles, and the top of wooden utility poles and metal poles.

CONCEALMENT: Traditional mobile networks were designed for voice call continuity and principally relied on macro sites. The increased demand for data requires cell splitting at a much finer level, placing network access points closer to the subscriber. The capacity and the ability to contour coverage makes it ideal for network densification. Network access points will be closer to where subscribers live, work and play. The CONCEALMENT set of solutions are designed to minimize the visual impact to the community. These solutions will enable the MNO to reduce the rent, backhaul and potentially power costs. They will help drive increased revenue.
