Each AW3946-E-F houses two 4-port 33 degree beamwidth sectors with a 60 degree azimuth separation between each sector. Three AW3946-E-F panels with 120 degree azimuth separation provide 360 degree azimuth coverage with six sectors positioned every 60 degree. The AW3946-E-F is the ideal antenna for 6 sectored high-capacity sites where sector-to-sector interference reduction is important for overall site performance. Each sector features a sharp pattern roll and reduced azimuth sidelobes below 25dB. The antenna leverages superior pattern control to suppress all upper elevation side lobes for all tilts and frequencies.
Each internal sector provides four ports for 4×4 MIMO technology to be used. The direction of the elevation beam can be adjusted using remote electrical tilt (eRET). This allows optimisation of the Elevation Beam to improve coverage and throughput. The AW3946-E-F is ideal for reducing deployment costs by using three antennas to cover six sector sites for 4G LTE and 5G private networks using the 3.5 GHz Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) and C-band spectrum (Bands n48, n78, 42, 43, and 52).
