The AW3711-E-F is a four port 33⁰ panel designed to operate across frequencies 3400-3800 MHz with electrical variable tilt. This sector antenna has a narrow azimuth beam with sharp pattern roll off and reduced azimuth sidelobes below 25dB. The AW3711-E-F is the ideal antenna for 6 sectored high capacity sites where sector to sector interference reduction is important for overall site performance. The antenna leverages features superior pattern control to suppress all upper elevation side lobes over 20 dB for all tilts and frequencies. The azimuth and elevation side lobe suppression and superior front to back ratio eliminate interferences in LTE networks, improve cell edge performance, and enable high levels of spectral efficiency.
The four ports allows 4×4 MIMO technology to be used. The direction of Elevation Beam can be adjusted using remote electrical tilt (eRET). Remote electrical tilt adjustment can enable elevation tilt adjustment over an IP Network located at the tower or offsite. This allows optimisation of the Elevation Beam to improve coverage and throughput. Down tilting the main beam electrically maintains azimuth pattern control and tilt is applied equally around the azimuth plane (i.e., no pattern blooming from mechanical tilt). This allows full control of the patterns to prevent signal creep into all neighbour cells, enables frequency-reuse between cells, and reduces the number of cells needed to serve an area. The AW3711-E-F provides small angle sectorized coverage for 4G LTE and 5G private networks using the 3.5 GHz Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) and C-band spectrum (Bands n48, n78, 42, 43, and 52).
